Our society has become increasingly complex over the years and certain social themes are
regularly politically exploited. As is the case with wearing a headscarf. The women who wear it
are rarely asked for their opinion on this matter, let alone be involved in the decision making
process.
That is why I invited women to pose for me with and without a headscarf, regardless of their own
opinion or beliefs. Wouldn't it be nice if this discussion would cease to exist and that every
woman could choose for herself what to wear?
